WM Upstream Service Lines
- In-Plant Services manages diverse Environmental Management Systems for large industrial clients that generate multiple, complex waste streams and byproducts. Experienced program managers work full-time inside of a client’s facility to provide daily support and go “Upstream” to find opportunities for process improvements and associated cost reductions.
- Enterprise Management uses experienced people, a nationwide network of vendor-partners and an innovative IT software platform to manage environmental programs that achieve business improvement targets, corporate environmental goals and ISO 14001 objectives. An Upstream Enterprise Manager serves as an off-site single-point-of-contact to develop and drive all elements of your program or project.
- Field Services employs a multi-disciplined, specially-trained group of experienced environmental professionals to provide a full-range of waste handling and support services. Lab packing, drum sampling, over-packing, bulking, industrial cleaning and remediation services are managed by a single point-of-contact and itemized on one comprehensive invoice, saving you time and money.
- Disaster Recovery provides comprehensive disaster cleanup services for commercial, industrial, municipal and retail customers. Experienced program managers provide daily, hands-on coordination of all types of complex situation using dedicated Waste Management resources that are invaluable in getting you back into business as quickly as possible.
- Product Destruction provides product and residual management services to industrial and commercial clients who have unique product security needs. Upstream maintains a nationwide network of transporters, destruction sites and material recycling outlets, including wholly owned recycling and waste-to-energy companies. All services are confidential and transparent, with full documentation and certification.
- Maritime Services offers comprehensive environmental management programs on a 24/7/365 basis for port facilities and ship owners throughout North America and the Caribbean. Maritime services have the resources and experience to manage all types of vendors and help maritime clients achieve sustainability, material recycling and waste reduction goals.
- Pulp and Paper offers residual management solutions for fiber & inorganic byproducts, including recycling and beneficial reuse. Upstream pulp & paper can provide design-build-operate turnkey facilities that enable large generators to manage costs and future liabilities. We allow you to focus on your core business – making paper.
- Security Services is a state-of-the art command center that monitors closed circuit TV (CCTV) feeds and facility alarm systems. Web-based, remote video feeds, digital video recorders and electronic activity reports delivered via email keep you informed regarding activities at your sites. We protect your assets like we protect our own.
- BIO-ZIP Sealable Liner is a cleaner, more convenient way of managing large volume biological and organic waste streams and the associated odor, leakage, disease and environmental contamination issues. Constructed of a thermally-bonded layering of polypropylene and featuring an industrial zippering system, BIO-ZIP offers the highest level of protection available.
- WM Streamline Software lets you order services, archive shipping papers, compile reports and generate invoices. Manage, document and report every step of the service chain, from point-of-order through to final disposition. You can also enjoy direct access to your program data through a secure web portal.
